Nancy is a middle school science teacher that currently lives in Arkansas. Her love of science began on her parent’s farm where she got to see photosynthesis and other feats of nature up close. It was her love of animals that stuck. It was not long before she found herself on the path to becoming a veterinarian. As fate would have it, she was forced to pause her studies as a result of financial difficulties. In time, she became a teacher. While she sometimes wonders what life would have been like as a vet, she thoroughly enjoys teaching her students. In fact, when the opportunity arose for her to continue her training as a vet, she turned it down. Nancy finds the greatest joy in helping to shape the minds of the future leaders of our nation and helping them experience the beauty of the scientific world around us.
